“In continuous use, from sunrise to sunset, because goats want to use it constantly.”

That intensive, continuous load? Day after day, season after season, that is exactly why we make no compromises with reliability. No maintenance. No downtime.

Our goat brushes run an average of 23 hours a day and they do so year in, year out, without maintenance.

The mechanism that drives everything.

The gearbox is the component that provides the power for brushing. We have developed our own planetary gearbox. It is fully sealed against dirt and moisture, maintenance-free by design, and dimensioned for years of intensive use.

User benefits

The gearbox withstands intensive use effortlessly. No noise pollution, no hitches, no maintenance to schedule; the brush rotates exactly as it should, year after year.

Starts via motion sensor

  1. 1

    Goat approaches

The motion sensor detects the goat.

  2. 2

    Brush starts

    The brush starts moving immediately.

  3. 3

    Automatic stop

No goat nearby? The brush stops automatically.

This prevents goats from nibbling on a stationary brush.

Assembly? Simple.

Mount on:

It does not matter where the Goat Deluxe is attached: brick, concrete, an I-beam, or a steel post — as long as the underlying structure is sturdy enough, the brush can be mounted anywhere. On walls with wall anchors or wedge bolts, on posts with bolt and nut or U-brackets. Thanks to our modular design, assembly is also easy, requiring no specialist tools or technical knowledge.

Due to the wide variety of mounting options, wall or post mounting materials are not included as standard, but this has been fully taken into account in the design — the necessary materials are readily available everywhere.

Placement in the goat stable

Where the brush is located determines how often it is used.

A few practical principles apply to the placement: Preferably choose a junction (1) or an end wall (2) in the stable: there is usually sufficient space here without the brush blocking the walking route. Do not place the brush in a dead-end corner (3), so that a goat can always move away from a dominant animal. Additionally, ensure there is enough space so that other goats can pass the brushing goat. Goats are curious and agile: a freely accessible brush in a logical location in the walking route will be used the most. A Comfy dealer or stable builder will be happy to assist in thinking along with the layout of the stable.

Animal welfare comes first

Geit leunt met een voorpoot op de borstel, natuurlijk schuurgedrag

Natural behavior, made possible.

Goats naturally rub themselves against fences, posts, and stable equipment. It is instinctive behavior, essential for skin care and well-being. Research by the New Zealand institute AgResearch showed how strong that need is: goats actively seek out places where they can rub and brush themselves.
